Welcome to Brigantine Rowing Club's 25th Annual Greenhead Sprints
General Information
The Greenhead Sprints is a 2000 meter ergometer regatta open to High School, College, Open, Masters, and Youth. There are 20 Concept2 Model D ergs in each heat.This year we will have a Coxswains race immediately after the High School Championships.
Fees: $20 - On-Line registration is through Regatta Central with a March 1, 2012 9:57 P.M.deadline. After March 1, registration must be done in person on the day of the regatta, the fee is payable in cash or check at the Check-In desk. Check-In should be at least an hour before the start time to allow for warm-up and any schedule changes.
A FREE Greenhead Sprints t-shirt is given to all entries.

Ergs are provided for warmup BEFORE your event. When you are seated for your event, please check your damper settings/drag as quickly as possible.A race cannot be started until all wheels have stopped. You may change the display units if you wish.
As always, DO NOT let the handle fly. The electronic connections and monitors can be damaged, causing major disruptions in a very tight schedule. Offenders will be disqualified.
Schedule Note for College, Open and Masters Rowers: Check the schedule carefully. All rowers in these categories compete in the "Individual" slots; however, rowers can enter one of the High School races if an erg is open. Ranking is based on the race category you entered on the registration, not the race you row in. ( A Senior Female who enters a HS Team race will have times compared to all Senior Females, not the High School boys or girls she may have beaten).
High School Coaches please instruct your athletes to enter the correct race category: Freshman, Lightweight, JV or Varsity. If an athlete will definitely be entered into a Championship event, register for that, if not, one of the other categories. Also, please have your athletes select the correct school/club from the Regatta Central list.

On-line registration at Regatta Central before March 3, 2010 is highly recommended. The On-Line registration fee is $20, payable at check-in by cash or personal check or on-line by credit card.
